Duty Recovery Reviews
Our duty recovery services help businesses recover duty overpayments primarily through tariff re-classification. Although this process may be simple in theory, it takes a great deal of experience to complete a review that yields the most successful results.
Many companies offering duty recovery reviews are unable to dedicate the resources necessary to analyze supporting government legislation and legal cases. Yet, performing the proper research is a vital component in conducting a beneficial review. Here at Dominion, not only do we have the resources necessary to help, but we have also developed a contingency based review that is both thorough and non-obtrusive.

Canadian International Trade Tribunal Services
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) is an administrative tribunal operating within Canada’s trade remedies system. It is an independent, quasi-judicial body, that carries out its statutory responsibilities in an autonomous and impartial manner while reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Finance.
In some cases, requests for tariff re-classification are best appealed at this level. With a deep understanding of the laws and regulations of Canadian customs and trade, we have acted on behalf of many of our clients over the past several years.
